Accessibility statement for the Shybird Platform
The Shybird Platform is where Platform Super Admins and organisation administrators manage organisations, members, products, invitations and company sign-in. It's run by Avencera, and we want everyone who uses it to be able to do their work easily.
You should be able to:
- zoom in up to 400% without text running off the screen
- use the whole service with just a keyboard
- use most of the service with a screen reader
- change colours, contrast and fonts through your browser or device settings
- turn off animation with your device's "reduce motion" setting
The Platform is built for desktop and laptop screens. It works on smaller screens too: the menu becomes a row of links and tables scroll sideways inside their own area.
Parts that aren't fully accessible yet
We know about these problems and are working on them:
- Some text placed over gradients may not have enough colour contrast.
- Some pages have not been checked by hand with a screen reader yet.
Telling us about a problem
If something on this service is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please get in touch with the Avencera team you work with. Tell us what you were trying to do and what went wrong, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
How well we meet the standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at level AA. The Platform partly meets this standard, because of the problems listed above. We'll update this page as we fix them.
How we checked
The sign-in and other public pages are checked automatically every time the code changes. We also test by hand, using only a keyboard. We review this statement regularly and whenever the service changes significantly.
